Last week in Hossegor

Our stay in Hossegor is almost over and we are still enjoying having visitors and sharing our favourite aspects that Hossegor has to offer.  A couple of weeks ago I accepted an new job with Nufarm in an HR - learning and organisational development role, which I will commence on our return.  Although I am sad to be leaving Healthworks and the team, I am also looking forward to the challenges this new role will offer along with establishing a new Family Minns routine after not having one for 3-4 months.

Danica and James arrived.  It was so good to just hang out with them as last time they were in Melbourne (only a few weeks before we left) they were caotic with their wedding.  I have attached some photos below of the wedding as I was married maid of honour (don't like the term matron) and Madeleine was the most divine little flower girl.

During their stay we had 3 scorching days hitting a top temp of 44 degrees.  Unfortunately the heat caused some discomfort as James burnt the soles of his feet chasing Trav down the street and over the sand dunes for a surf.  I've been told the palm size like blisters have settled down - poor guy.

Bev also left us on the weekend to join a Spain/Portugul tour.  We have kept in touch and she is enjoying the trip and met some lovely people.  We are looking forward to hearing more when we meet back up in Paris.

The temperature settled for our final week and surf dropped, however Trav still informs me he is 'getting pitted'. Trav and I got stuck into cleaning our beach pad, and are happy to be moving on to explore.  We had a final BBQ with Bruce, Lou, Archie and Manou where we handed over all the toys, puzzles, buckets etc we had gathered in our time at Hossegor.

We all love it here and will certainly come back although on with the journey ...

Upcoming: Leave to Mache (Vendee) to stay with my aunty Diane and Chris, catch the tour and relax in the vendee.
